Standard Installation
Standard installation for both DIRECWAY® Home and DIRECWAY Professional service plans is included in all orders. Once you’ve placed your order, a DIRECWAY-certified installer will contact you to schedule your installation. On that date, he will arrive with all of the equipment needed to get your DIRECWAY service connected. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires that only trained professionals may install two-way satellite systems, like DIRECWAY. What's Included with Standard Installation The best thing about installing DIRECWAY® high-speed Internet service is that we do all of the work. Just like that, you're surfing the Internet at speeds like never before. | INCLUDED with Standard Installation | NOT INCLUDED with Standard Installation | Mount the dish to an approved structure at least five feet off the ground as required by FCC regulations, using HUGHES standard roof, and/or wall mounting brackets. Check to make sure you have a clear view of the south from your house. The satellite dish, generally installed on the roof of your home, needs to be able to 'see' the DIRECWAY satellite positioned in the southern sky. An unobstructed view—no trees or tall buildings in the way—is required.
Choose between two high-speed service plans, DIRECWAY Home or DIRECWAY Professional, to meet your Internet needs. Then select either the Upfront or Promotional payment plan, as well as any optional add-on services.
